Both the University of Chicago and Northwestern University ranked in the top 10 of the newly published list of the best national university rankings by US News and World Reports.
All schools on the list of Best Universities of 2021 offer a full range of undergraduate, graduate and graduate programs for undergraduate students and are also committed to “doing groundbreaking research” according to the US News and World Report.
The University of Chicago took sixth place in the national list, following on from Standford University in California.
US News and World Report gave the University of Chicago a score of 95 out of 100, which translates into enrollment of 6,734 students and $ 59,298 in tuition fees.
“The University of Chicago is known for its location and rigorous academic and enrichment programs,” the website said.
Northwestern University ranked ninth in the list of top schools with the California Institute of Technology and Johns Hopkins University.
US News and World Report gave Northwestern University a score of 93 out of 100 with an enrollment of 8,327 students and $ 58,701 in tuition.

Northwestern was also ranked in the top 15 Best Value Schools and Best Undergraduate Engineering Program, according to US News and World Report.
