These two new programs – an MJ in energy law and an MJ in environmental law – expand the longstanding partnership between Tulane University Law School and Everspring. All of these programs provide convenient, 100 percent online education to busy professionals whose responsibilities require enhanced legal expertise.

“Everspring has expanded its presence to a nationwide audience with the online MJ-LEL program and Title IX certification programs,” he said Joel Friedmann, Founder of the Online Program Portfolio and Jack M. Gordon Professor of Procedural Law and Jurisdiction Tulane University Law Faculty. “The combination of their learning design solutions to support course development and sophisticated marketing techniques to attract students has been critical to the growth of our programs. It was a logical step to build on that track record in energy and environmental law.”

The online energy law program’s courses are aimed at emerging professionals in highly regulated energy industries such as oil and gas, electricity, renewable energy and nuclear power, providing them with hands-on legal training to advance their careers. The courses in the environmental law program are aimed at professionals who work in regulated companies, regulators or interest groups and need up-to-date training in the development of regulations on all aspects of environmental issues.

“With a rapidly growing body of laws at the national, state and local levels, these new MJs in energy and environmental law are helping professionals advance their careers in dynamic and challenging areas,” he said Beth Hollenberg, Co-founder and President of Everspring. “Our experienced team and proprietary technology enable a new connection between students and the best law professors in Tulane for an unparalleled educational experience.”
